Dr. Rogers’ words of wisdom and encouragement have always had an enormous and significant impact on my life.  His willingness to serve has demonstrated his passion for equipping others with the proper tools for success now and in the future.  I admire his integrity, perseverance, and determination. These qualities became contagious to me after continued interaction with him as a mentor, motivational speaker and man of God.

Dr. Rogers has known me since I was about nine and he was able to see my potential before I could even notice it. Over the years, he has learned how to approach different personalities differently. He and I have opposite personalities, but I enjoy having him in my life because of the perspective that he brings to the table. Without him to build me up and encourage me, I don’t think that would have been as mature as I am now.

I have known Dr. Al-Aakhir Rogers for almost 15 years.  He is an excellent communicator, orator, and presenter.  I have personally seen him use his gift of speaking to motivate everyone he happens to have as an audience at the time: from the person sitting next to him to crowds of thousands. I consider Dr. Rogers a close and personal friend. I am sure that his integrity, ambition, warm personality, and focused purpose in life will make all those that incorporate him into their lives feel like myself almost instantaneously.

I would call Dr. Al- Aakhir Rogers one of those who is salt of earth motivators.  His sense of excellence is contagious and unlike many at his level of education and intelligence he is a forever learner. I have asked him about his field on a couple occasions and even as a novice he explained his specialty in  a way I could actually explain to others. This as evidence of an ability to communicate and articulate in way most would envy.  Dr. Rogers is a man of integrity to the very core of his person.

I had the privilege of observing him motivate students in North Carolina to pursue higher studies and encourage students who might need an extra helping hand.  In spite  of his tremendous schedule and numerous events in his personal life, he has lent his helping hands.  Dr. Rogers is a person of great honesty , integrity  and unprecedented conscientiousness.

I first learned about Dr. Al-Aakhir Rogers from a colleague when I was seeking a motivational speaker for the Peach State Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Conference during my tenure at the University of Georgia.  When I heard Dr. Rogers speak from the depths of his soul with a unique blend of intellect, humor, passion, and inspiration, I knew he was destined for success. I have been blessed by his spirit and support, and consider him to be a true catalyst for change.
